15.08.2012, ALLEGRO at the NAACL conference

a 2-day workshop on "Educational Applications" in North America

The Workshop "Innovative Use of NLP for Building" is an international workshop on “applications in the field of digital learning systems". This workshop is a satellite workshop of the conference NAACL (North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics) which will be held from 3rd to 8th June 2012 in Montreal, Canada. At this conference the ALLEGRO project will be represented by no less than two project partners, namely the team of INRIA from Nancy and Supélec from Metz.

The workshop brings together researchers and industrialists interested in the contribution of NLP (automatic language processing) techniques to digital systems for foreign language teaching. Particularly interesting topics are: the analysis and automatic evaluation of learner’s responses, intelligent learning systems, the use of corpus for the development of software for language teaching and systems for foreign language teaching.
